Learning about STROCKS
Cave’s visit to H.G.Matthews brickworks in Chiltern
We were impressed by the opportunities these blocks create, especially for sites where clay is plentiful and needs excavating during the construction process. Strocks are sustainable, load bearing & vapour permeable blocks, made entirely from clay, straw and a pinch of lime.
The visit ended on a high at the new Village Nursery, where Strocks where used as natural building material for the inner leave of the cavity walls, partition walls and the beautiful internal dome, a must see!
